Currently Reading The Archived by Victoria Schwab, and it's a pretty sweet and original concept. The dead organized in a library, Keepers that, well, keep them from escaping into the outside world, and the Narrows, which, to me, feels like purgatory. One scene that's really stayed with me so far is one during which Mac "reads" the past of her new home, this ancient mansion of what used to be a hotel. There's a man, or a boy really, looming over a pool of blood, dark stains of which cover his hands and clothes. What did he do? Suddenly, as if realizing the destruction he's caused and the trouble he's in, he flees the room, and Mac is ripped from her "reading," wondering who's blood that was and if this man-boy ever faced justice. 

Pretty intense scene, and it leaves you wondering how it ties to the rest of the story. Who was this guy? And why is he covered in someone else's blood?
