Spotlight: Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

ummm... Hell. Yeah.

Okay, I know I'm a little late in the running, but honestly, what else is new? I came across this book while perusing the pages of epicreads.com.. or was it harperteen.com? Whatever, their pretty much welded together.. Anyway, the synopsis intrigued me, the author's description inspired me, and the book trailer gave me legit goosebumps. Needless to say, I put my Amazon Prime account to good use ~ once again.

So, because I was so moved to buy this book, I wanted to share it with you. It was released in January of this year, and luck behold, the next book will be out in a few months (January 2013 ~ yes, it's almost here). Take a gander :).

Since she'd been on the outside, she'd survived an Aether storm, she'd had a knife held to her throat, and she'd seen men murdered. This was worse.

Exiled from her home, the enclosed city of Reverie, Aria knows her chances of surviving in the outer wasteland - known as The Death Shop - are slim. If the cannibals don't get her, the violent, electrified energy storms will. She's been taught that the very air she breathes can kill her. Then Aria meets an Outsider named Perry. He's wild - a savage - and her only hope of staying alive.

A hunter for his tribe in a merciless landscape, Perry views Aria as sheltered and fragile - everything he would expect from a Dweller. But he needs Aria's help too; she alone holds the key to his redemption. Opposites in nearly every way, Aria and Perry must accept each other to survive. Their unlikely alliance forges a bond that will determine the fate of all who live under the never sky.

Most of the time, I hate it when people in book trailers try to act ~ no oscars will ever be won. But this was pretty good ~ way better than most. Gave me chills ;).

Also, you can "Browse Inside." Tried to include it right here, but the darn thing won't pull up the code, so here's the link @ Harper Teen.

Pretty yummy stuff ~ can't wait to get my little brown box in the mail :).

Happy Reading Everyone :)

Hope you like it! I loved it but reading reviews I see that people have had different reactions to the first few chapters of the book.. some find it somewhat slow while others get confused but the terminology Eventually everything falls in place and everyone seems to love it. Enjoy it!!!
