Trailer Love: Don't Turn Around by Michelle Gagnon

Sixteen-year-old Noa has been a victim of the system ever since her parents died. Now living off the grid and trusting no one, she uses her computer-hacking skills to stay safely anonymous and alone. But when she wakes up on a table in an empty warehouse with an IV in her arm and no memory of how she got there, Noa starts to wish she had someone on her side.

Enter Peter Gregory. A rich kid and the leader of a hacker alliance, Peter needs people with Noa's talents on his team. Especially after a shady corporation called AMRF threatens his life in no uncertain terms.

But what Noa and Peter don't realize is that Noa holds the key to a terrible secret, and there are those who'd stop at nothing to silence her for good.

Fans of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" will devour the story of Noa, a teen soul mate to Lisbeth Salander.

Mmmmmm... I never read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo... Not that I haven't wanted to, just, ya know the old saying..."so many books, so little time."  This sounds delectable, and being the trailer whore that I am, I just had to share it with you guys. And isn't that cover awesome! I love the way the words curve around the hand... and the fading colors...

too bad I need sleep and those little green papery things called dollar bills to feed myself.. I'd spend all my time reading books like these...

Happy Reading Everyone :)

  2. @Nina I've heard bits and pieces about the story, and it does sound pretty disturbing.. I love the scary, spooky, weird, etc.. but I haven't decided if I want to handle what's goin' on in that book...

  3. Well I have read the Millennium trilogy and It's great stuff. I did think Salander when I read the word "hacker" and comparing this book to The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo is claiming a lot. That next to the slight similarity and the trailer does makes this an attractive read.
